Skunk Rescued After Getting Head Stuck In Beer Can

BILLERICA, Mass. (AP) — A skunk that by some means received its head caught in a discarded can of beer is being cared for by veterinarians in Massachusetts.

Animal management officers in Billerica (BILL’-rick-ah) posted an image of the unlucky critter on Twitter. They mentioned it “amazing” that its head may match into such a small opening and famous that it gave new which means to the time period “skunked beer.”

Police mentioned the skunk was taken to Tufts Wildlife Clinic in North Grafton after being discovered Wednesday. The plan was to sedate the skunk earlier than eradicating the aluminum can, after which monitor the animal for just a few days earlier than returning it to the wild.
